ACCESS TO CLEAN DRINKING WATER

Clean drinking water is a fundamental necessity for health and well-being, yet millions of people in rural areas still struggle to access it due to lack of proper infrastructure. Villagers often face the challenge of travelling long distances, up to 1 km or more, to collect water from unreliable sources like open wells, borewells, rivers and handpumps. Untreated water consumption is also a major reason for various health issues and diseases in these areas.

WATER POWERS LIFE

At Ecolife Foundation, we are committed to solving the water crisis in rural areas by providing sustainable solutions that ensure access to clean drinking water for everyone. Through initiatives like the installation of Household and Community Water Filters (HWF) and water wheels, we’ve significantly reduced the time and effort spent on collecting water. With these interventions, families no longer have to travel long distances, and can easily access safe, purified water directly at their homes fostering better hygiene and health outcomes.

Providing access to +40 MILLION litres of water annually.
