ACCESS TO CLEAN DRINKING WATER
Clean drinking water is a fundamental necessity for health and well-being, yet millions of people in rural areas still struggle to access it due to lack of proper infrastructure. Villagers often face the challenge of travelling long distances, up to 1 km or more, to collect water from unreliable sources like open wells, borewells, rivers and handpumps. Untreated water consumption is also a major reason for various health issues and diseases in these areas.
